Bank of Baroda (BOB) PO Recruitment Vacancy Detail:
Applications have been invited from the candidates for recruitment of PO in 400 posts of Bank of Baroda (BOB). The class wise details of the posts are as follows: 202 posts have been reserved for general caste candidates or unreserved category. While 108, 60 and 30 posts have been reserved for the Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes respectively. Candidates, reserved category candidates, to get the benefit of the reservation, the relevant certificate will be made available to the bank during the application process.
Eligibility for Probationary Officer Recruitment of BOB:
Educational qualification for the post of PO of Bank of Baroda, Candidate must be completed graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from the recognized institution or the University. For the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category candidates, 50% has been determined. If you have completed the qualification then you can apply for the Bank of Baroda PO examination. Similarly, the eligibility in the age limit will be at least minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years for the General category candidates. The candidate should not be born before April 1st, 1989 and not after April 1st, 1997. Age limit will be calculated on April 1, 2017. In respect of exemption in age limit, which candidates belonging to other backward classes will be given 3 years relaxation and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes up to 5 years relaxation will be given. In addition to disabled candidates will be allowed up to 10 years of age relaxation.
Bank of Baroda PO Recruitment Process:
Bank of Baroda PO recruitment process will be done through the objective and descriptive online examination. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion or Personal Interview. Merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained in those examinations. There will be two papers in the online examination, in which the first paper is objective type question answer and the second paper will be descriptive. This examination will be done for a total of 250 marks. Candidates selected for the online examination will be called for interview or group discussion. After this, candidates who will be obtained maximum marks in both examinations will be selected as Probationary Officers or POs.
Syllabus of Bank of Baroda PO Post:
There will be two types of question papers in the written examination, which will be the first objective type paper and second is descript type question paper.
- Objective Type Question Paper:
Questions related to Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Studies, English, and Banking sector in the Bank of Baroda PO Online Written Examination will be asked. In which 50-50 questions will be asked on every topic. In this examination, one mark has been determined for each question. The negative marks will be calculated in this examination, i.e. one wrong digit will be cut for one-fourth digit. The duration of this examination will be 2 hours. The test for objective type questions will be 200 points here. The descriptive question paper will be evaluated only if it is necessary to get the minimum marks prescribed for this examination. Therefore, it is important for the candidates to keep in mind that the minimum points in the objective question paper are definitely obtained.
- Descriptive Type Question Paper:
In this question paper, two questions of English language will be asked which will be of the total 50 marks. For this, the candidate will be given time to solve the 30-minute for this question paper. Candidates who will be passed the online examination, they will be shortlisted for group discussion or interview. It is important to keep in mind that only the descriptive question papers of those candidates will be evaluated which have obtained minimum marks in the objective paper. Psychometric Assessment is a kind of qualifying question paper. Therefore it is necessary to get minimum marks in it. Candidates’ final merit list will be done on the basis of the online exam (objectives and descriptive) and points obtained by them in the interview.
Application Fee for BOB PO Exam:
An application fee has been determined for the BOB PO Exam by the applicants according to the category. Under this, an application fee of Rs 750 has been fixed for the unreserved and other backward class category candidates. And Rs. 100 / – for the candidates of disabled and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the fee has been set. Candidates can pay the application fee by debit card, credit card, cash card, internet banking or master card. Apart from this mobile wallet can also be used to pay the examination fee.
